24 centimeter X 31 cm = approximately 9 inches X 12 inches ( i am from Belgium and we don't use inches, sorry )

Very big lithographic, hand press produced card, to use as a decoration, advertising engraving to the wall in a perfum or barber shop. Color posters were not yet used the use of color was very scarse in those times

Those porcelain cards (as we use to describe them) are in fact mostly address cards for various trades and commerative purposes. The production of these cards was only for some decades. This because of the manufacturing of used varnish and metalic ( lead ) inkts was desastrous for the workers. End 1860 Workers Unions formulated complaints and those were proven right. And that was the end of this manufacturing printing technique around used until approximately1870
